Data Security in Hotspots

WINDRY is an 802.11b/g wireless router from Black Box with special abilities. Its compact, fully industry-compatible IP50 housing with DIN rail or wall mounting allows use in many environments such as offices, public buildings as well as harsh industrial applications. The wireless router is also ideal for the establishment of public hotspots.

Built-in Apple Wireless Security
The WINRY's built-in Apple security prevents Apple users from recognizing other wireless devices connected to the hotspot. A problem that often occurs with traditional wireless routers, because Apple’s AFP, is immune to usual security mechanismens such as L3- and client isolation.
